Custos at manual line break

Salvete,

I'm having an issue where I'm putting together the Invitatory for Matins of Louismas, and when I run my gabc in the source and summit editor, the custos is placed immediately next to the double bar, but when I run in through LaTeX, the custos gets pushed all the way to the right edge of each line. I'd like to see the custos next to the barlines. TexShop 5.52, MacOS Ventura 13.4. I've attached my gabc file, any help is appreciated.

I don't know how to program it to happen automatically, but you can do it manually, substituting for e as appropriate: (::)(e+Z-)
