New Parliament: Burial (or Cremation?) of (old) "India"?

The new Parliament building is the symbolic assertion and expression of the "New India" that's being put in place to supplant the (old) "India" that had been born on the August 15th 1947, founded on the ideals of composite nationhood, inclusiveness and egalitarianism - as the successful culmination of the epic freedom struggle.

To blot out the "old", along with its foundational ideals.

Also as a monument to the founding Emperor of the "New".

The building is meant to be a gorgeous shell to be displayed before the domestic and global viewers.
