Here are four significant links related to the party and its founder.

I. X account of the founder: <https://x.com/i/status/2057346693176107394>.
II. The profile link of the founder on the FB:
III. Two very recent news items as regards the huge sensation that the party has triggered among the chatterati:

The founder himself is reportedly a 30-year-old Indian graduate from Boston University, USA (ref.: <https://www-hindustantimes-com.cdn.ampproject.org/v/s/www.hindustantimes.com/trending/who-is-abhijeet-dipke-the-boston-educated-founder-of-cockroach-janata-party-101779346291274-amp.html>). A Dalit, as per his own deposition.

The title of the "party" itself is visibly a caustic satirical take on a recent highly controversial comment by the incumbent Indian CJI: <https://www.facebook.com/share/r/1CU8gDm3Qj/>.

The party appears to be an updated version of the still extant AAP.
Expression of a revolt by chunks of the privileged against the "system".
In an even purer form. Quite a bit more evolved.
No specific "ideology".
The focus, even if only implicitly, is on "corruption".
The method is "disruption".
The USP: its uniqueness. No alliance. Whatever.

No physical presence, yet, on the ground.
Nonetheless, a huge sensation in the virtual world. So much so that the incumbent Modi regime has taken note and is putting efforts to stifle it in its very infancy. (Ref.: <https://www.msn.com/en-in/news/insight/centre-blocks-satirical-cjp-x-account-citing-security-concerns/gm-GM79258005>.)

In a way, has some broad similarities with the (Gen Z) protest movement -- now ensconced in power -- in neighbouring Nepal.
Maybe also with Madagascar -- last October.

The prospects: one, at this point of time, can only speculate.
May just vanish like a meteor making a short and blazing journey across the sky overhead.
Maybe, even if less likely, would make some lasting impact.
No one can guarantee either.

Of course: Expression of a revolt by chunks of the privileged against the "system".
The term "privileged" is to be understood as "privileged" enough to have a working knowledge of English and quite familiar with the social media.

In a way, has some broad similarities with the (Gen Z) protest movement -- now ensconced in power -- in neighbouring Nepal.
Maybe also with Madagascar -- last October. [It also, even if rather faintly, resembles the #MeToo campaign in India, on the net, launched by one Raya Sarkar (ref.: https://www.law.upenn.edu/live/news/8395-the-me-too-movement-in-indian-academia>).]

The prospects: one, at this point of time, can only speculate.
May just vanish like a meteor making a short and blazing journey across the sky overhead.
