Other Books, is catering to the serious readers since 2003. We are proud to inform you about our 5th Anniversary celebrations scheduled to be conducted on the 29th of January, at Calicut City, Kerala.
Venue: Town Hall, Calicut

Titles to be launched in the function:
· The Malayalam version of Other Side of Israel (by Susan Nathan) titling "Aathmavanchanakalude Puravritham" (A deeply troubling book that should be read by anyone who wants to understand the reality of life for the Arab citizens of Israel )
· The English and Malayalam versions of Nine Decades of Marxism in the land of Brahminism (by S. K. Biswas). Malayalam title is "Brahmana Marxism"
· Hagar the Matrix, the Matriarch and the paradigm - by Ahmdi Muhammad
Dignitaries participating:
Susan Nathan: Orator , teacher, community support worker, and the author of 'Other Side of Israel'. BBC & Al Jazeera has done programs on Susan Nathan.
Prof.Kancha Ilaiah: Professor and Head of Political Science, Osmania University, Hyderabad. Writer, author, dalit bahujan and civil liberties movement activist, and dalit philosopher. Author of many books including 'buffalo nationalism', 'god as political philosopher', 'a shudra critique of hindutva philosophy', and 'why I am not a hindu'.
Swapan K Biswas, IAS: Prolific writer, tireless organizer, thinker and Ahbedkarite activist. Authored many books including 'partition of India', and 'towards a casteless society'.
