It won't perhaps be too unrealistic to presume that most - or at least many, of these protesters to be deported are from India.
Deporting them back to India, for taking part in the subject protest, would be almost as good, or bad, as sending Rohingyas back to Myanmar from India.

It offers a strong clue as to the attitude of the Arab countries vis-a-vis the current controversy. They'll respond - that too quite strongly, only when "Islam" is attacked, which will be considered as an attack on themselves. As long as the attacks are limited to the followers of Islam - in an alien land, they won't bother to move their little fingers. Their own contemplated treatment of Indian Muslims should be enough of an indicator. Their long held silence on Chinese oppression of Uighur Muslims is yet another. Palestine - in their own neighbourhood, is, of course, a very different cup of tea - it involves state level conflicts with the state of Israel, considered an existential threat to themselves.

<<Kuwait said that the protestors will be deported to their respective countries as they violated the laws and regulations of the country which stipulates that sit-ins or demonstrations by expats are not to be organised in the Gulf nation, it said.

“The detectives are in the process of arresting them and referring to the deportation center to be deported to their countries and will be banned from entering Kuwait again,” reported Al Rai, a Kuwaiti newspaper.

The report did not mention the nationalities of those expatriates who took part in the demonstration.

The Kuwait government was one of the few countries who had summoned the Indian envoy over the remarks of the former BJP functionaries.>>
