<<Dattatreya Hosabale, general secretary of the RSS, expressed concern about India’s population imbalance on Wednesday, stressing the importance of strict enforcement of anti-conversion laws and the formulation of a uniform population policy.

The RSS general secretary, speaking to reporters after a four-day Akhil Bhartiya Karyakari Mandal meeting of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, said the organization is working to raise awareness about religious conversions. Hosabale also stated that RSS led Ghar Wapsi drive has given favourable outcomes in bringing back people who converted to other faiths like Islam and Christianity.

The RSS leader raised concern over decreasing population of Hindus and added that India needs to have a uniform population policy.

“Due to religious conversions, the Hindu population has dwindled. Trespassing in certain parts of the country has exacerbated the problem, which must be addressed. Thus, India should have a population policy that has been thoroughly thought out and is equally applicable to all communities,” he said on the final day of the RSS working committee meeting.

The RSS leader warned that population imbalance has in the past led to partition in many countries, including India. He also pointed out that after conversions, infiltration is the second biggest reason behind population imbalance. “Population imbalance leads to alteration of geographical boundaries. Religious conversions and migration from other countries need to be stopped,” he asserted.>>

A good question.  Why that is supposed to be contradictory? If I am a well wisher of India and democracy won't it put the pieces together for your puzzle?

First, I am not an ardent follower of the RSS.  I consider them too soft. And they leave much to be desired on ideological and intellectual content.  But all said and done, they have 1,80,000 ongoing welfare projects. And they are active not just in India but in 156 countries. and no other political party or organization in India, if not the world, can match them. Their scope and strength is beyond your imagination.  If you think pigmis like Rahul and leftists stands any chance against them, you are optimistic beyond belief. It is only a matter of time now before they gather critical mass, if you understand what I mean.

I am not 'Modi bhakt' either. If he lacks somewhere, I will criticize him. But it will be constructive criticism. If he is doing a good job sincerely and is uncorrupt I will support him. And no person is indispensible.  Within five years, someone else will carry on his good work. Let us see if he fulfills KRA (Key Result Area) of dismantling Pakistan for which mainly he was brought in. (Just joking. Don't take it seriously).

I am a well-wisher of Indian democracy and want a strong opposition party that operates above vote bank politics, supports the Government on good initiatives and points out where it is lacking like a nervous system in the human body.  They must carry the signal to the brain (Government) where it is hurting and needs attention.  And above all, it must shun anti-national elements and should not be prattling propaganda that is in sync with the enemy country. I may wish any opposition party fulfills these conditions, including Congress.  So I give ideas on take it or leave it basis.  That is done even by 23 Congress leaders haven't they?  They are ignored and called traitors and agents of BJP is a different story.  But they tried.

And I don't qualify to be their adviser because they want only sycophants. As you must have experienced many times, I do not mince words. My views are sharp and at times brutal. So I do not fit the bill to be their adviser.  Why do they always clip the wings of any talented leader lest he becomes a challenger to the dynasty? Why do they choose the likes of Manmohan Singh and Kharge? Why Indira Gandhi, Sanjay Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi, Madhvrao Scindia, and Rajesh Pilot met with unnatural deaths? Whose progress to the throne they were blocking? Any educated guess? Read Chanakya Niti instead of 'Discovery of India' or 'My experiments with truth'.

When you will learn from the experience?  Modi was the Chief Minister of Gujarat three times. And he is the Prime Minister for two terms and chances are he will be elected for the 3rd term too.  If 'yet another glimpse' did not work in so many decades how many more failures will make you realize that finally people are not impressed and you have to change the track? Einstein's definition of stupidity is too well known to require repetition here.  And you are a living example.

In case Rahul does not know – there are elections in Gujarat and HP where his yatra is not going. Following was just one newspaper headline –

12 Union ministers to visit Gujarat as BJP ramps up a campaign in the poll-bound state”

And Rahul is walking in far away Karnataka posing with children like Nehru and tying shoelaces. Is he really serious? First, change his advisors. Also dump idiotic, sycophantic media that praises his politically suicidal actions convincing the poor idiot that he is on the right path. His whole approach needs to be changed ‘yesterday’ and he needs to run pretty fast just to remain in the same place. Electing a non-Gandhi President just to shoulder the responsibility for the next failure is a good strategy only for Gandhis but not for the Congress.

Understand one thing. People will vote for Modi because there is no better alternative.  So try to show a better alternative. Do not try to garner votes on what is wrong with Modi. It did not work in the past. Try to garner votes on what is right with Rahul Gandhi, if anything. Glimpses of Modi with no alternative will give the same results and a futile exercise. I thought people mature with age. But you have shaken my confidence in this adage with your repeated pearls of wisdom.

Sorry friend. Indians are no more gullible than they once used to be. What worked for Indira Gandhi will not work now. They want concrete plans not just tokenism of growing beards, walking, and stage-managed photo-ops. Even the illiterate can see through these media-advised gimmicks.

What was the idea of Congress when they embarked on the so-called Bharat-Jodo yatra? They thought people have never seen Rahul Gandhi before, or had not seen him walking so it is a novel idea to catch votes now?  Do you think this useless tokenism has anything to do with Bharat-Jodo, love, democracy, human rights, minority protection, protection of lower castes, and economic well-being?

And branding RSS as 'hate' does not work anymore does it?  The Internet is a game changer.  Now Congress-managed tea-biscuit media has no monopoly over what is fed to the masses.  There are other sources and people are able to see reality with their own eyes.  They do not need your bottle-fed wisdom of what is love and what is hatred.

The Sooner you realize that Gandhian or even Indira Gandhian methods are totally ineffective, the better for Congress. You are stuck up in a borewell and do not know what is happening outside and how much the world has changed.

We do not expect honesty from Congress media but see what Pakistani Muslim journalists Tahir Gora and Anis Faruq are saying about RSS. Show some honesty and intelligence for a change.  At least know what is in your real interest. Somehow narrative of Congress and Pakistan or anti-national elements are seen converging.  Congress is committing political suicide by such a narrative not knowing what impact it is creating on the awakened Indian mass.
