She's as vile and illiterate as any average Bhakt/Chaddi.

The fact is that it's none other than Bose - the principal and  only credible challenger to Gandhi from within the camp of "Indian" nationalists (distinct from the "Muslim" or "Hindu" nationalists), who did anoint Gandhi as the "Father of the Nation" in the run-up to the launch of his audacious expedition - at the head of the legendary Azad Hind Fauj (also known as INA), via a radio broadcast from Singapore on July 6 1944.
And, during the historic INA Trial, in 1945-46 - where its three topmost surviving leaders, captured by the British Army, were tried by the British colonial ruler, Jawaharlal Nehru had - as the rarest of rare exception, himself donned the black coat to defend the defendants as a member of the defence team specially formed by the Congress which also included famous lawyers of the time,  Bhulabhai Desai, Asaf Ali, Tej Bahadur Sapru, Kailash Nath Katju and Lt. Col Horilal Varma Bar at Law.

During those tumultous years - marked also by the humongous Quit India upsurge, the Hindu Mahasabha - under the leadership of Savarkar, was openly collaborating with the colonial masters and the RSS scrupulously stayed away from that epic freedom struggle - whether led by Gandhi or by Bose. It had nothing to do with Bhagat Singh either - who, in any case, was a revolutionary socialist and an atheist to boot, a polar opposite of the RSS.

The most unfortunate part is that a considerable section of the Indian public, via social media, are taking and would take their history lessons from Kangana and her likes.

<<Kangana said that freedom fighters were ‘handed over’ to the British by those ‘who had no courage’ to fight oppression but were ‘power-hungry’. She took potshots at Mahatma Gandhi and said, “Those are the ones who taught us, if someone slaps you offer another cheek for one more slap and that is how you will get aazaadi. That's not how one gets aazadi, one can only get bheekh like that. Choose your heroes wisely.”

Kangana claimed that Gandhi ‘never supported’ Bhagat Singh or Subhas Chandra Bose. “So you need to choose who you support because just placing them all in one box of your memory and every year wishing them all on their birth anniversaries is not enough. In fact, it is not just dumb, it is highly irresponsible and superficial. One must know their history and their heroes,” she said.>>
