<<The Financial Times,  the London-based business newspaper, has rejected calls from the Adani group to take down a report that was depicted by Gautam Adani’s firm as a “mendacious, deliberate effort to paint the Adani group and the Adani family in the worst possible light”.

A spokesperson for the FT told The Telegraph: “The article is accurate and carefully prepared. We stand by our reporting.”

The report, “Indian data reveals Adani empire’s reliance on offshore funding”, appeared on March 22, 2023, and can still be read online on the FT website.>>

Here's the Adani Group letter to the FT on April 10: <https://www.newkerala.com/news/2023/45000.htm>.

Interestingly, Rahul Gandhi's persistent queries about "20,000 crore" -- and its source (s) -- is, understandably, based on this particular FT report.
In this context, it's also worth recalling that Adani's almost instantaneous threat of legal actions against Hindenburg (ref.: <https://www.thehindu.com/business/Industry/adani-group-to-explore-legal-options-against-hindenburg-in-india-and-us/article66435173.ece>) on release of its report concerning the group's alleged massive financial frauds on Jan 24 (ref.: <https://hindenburgresearch.com/adani/>) has turned out to be a merely a blank shot -- meant only to scare. However, as the Hindenburg remains well beyond the reach of the Indian ED and IT, the threat simply fell flat on its face.
The FT too has summarily rejected Adani demand to take down its report.
