Our own San Diego North County Transit District (NCTD) was Awarded $2 million in Federal Stimulus Grant Dollars in Support ofSustainability Initiatives. (See attached Press Release for more information about this awesome opportunity.)

Please join me on December 2nd for a North County Transit District Public Stakeholder Meeting in the Board Room at the NCTD offices located at 810 Mission Avenue in Oceanside. We will only have room for 65 people, so please RSVP. If demand exceeds our capacity, NCTD will schedule additional workshops.

As Chair of the Carlsbad Chamber's Sustainability Committee, I will be moderating this workshop, and I invite you to join us as Angela Miller, NCTD's CIO leads a presentation about the proposed solar energy initiatives in North San Diego County for these Federal Funding dollars.
