Marion Briggs is the Sustainability
Manager for HealthBeacon, a health technology company based in Dublin that makes smart tools for managing medication. A passionate environmentalist and sustainability advocate, she joined the HealthBeacon team in 2020 to help them launch their Green Labs facility,
which processes injection waste in a more circular and sustainable manner.
She also oversees the implementation of HealthBeacon’s sustainability goals and represents them in the newly founded injection supply chain nonprofit, the Alliance
to Zero. In addition, she volunteers as Chair of the board of Friends of the Earth, Ireland, which allows her to contribute to the NGO community while keeping her finger on the pulse of what is happening in sustainability more broadly.

Sarah L. Hanssen has over 25
years of go-to-market experience in the medical device and bio-pharma industries and has spent her career in commercial leadership roles at leading companies including Roche Diagnostics, Amylin Pharmaceuticals and Digirad, Inc. Sarah currently serves as UltiMed’s
Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Sarah joined UltiMed in 2018 and leads Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Analytics and Business Development.
UltiMed is an industry leader in promoting and advocating for proper and safe sharps disposal through the proprietary UltiGuard Safe Pack product portfolio
and educational resources.

Cedric Gysel is a healthcare
solutions manager for Johnson & Johnson Design, driving human-centered solutions for patients and customers of Janssen and leading key innovation projects for device sustainability. He has more than 15 years of experience with the development and design of
devices and combination products.
He holds a bachelor’s in pharmaceutical technology from the University of Basel and a master’s in medical device technology from the University of Applied Science
in Bern and Stanford University with a specialization in human-centered design.
