Subject: Please share this job posting for Manager, Office of Waste Diversion, DC DPW. Deadline April 4th
To: Brenda Platt <bpl...@ilsr.org>

Washington, DC has a unique opportunity to become a national zero waste leader by recruiting a highly skilled professional to lead its Office of Waste Diversion (OWD) located in the DC Department of Public Works (DPW).  DPW plans to release its Zero Waste DC Plan in April, and the OWD Manager will lead its implementation, including a curbside compost pilot slated to launch this summer. Blake Adams, the prior OWD Manager, recently resigned for a post in Denver, CO. We need a seasoned professional with proven waste diversion experience. The position pays between $107K-$151K depending on the person's experience.  DPW is hiring on a very short timeline. We would greatly appreciate your help in disseminating this exciting job opportunity among the ILSR networks and encourage qualified candidates to apply no later than April 4, 2023. DPW has posted the vacancy and is disseminating it to its partner agencies. They have requested support from environmental stakeholders to amplify awareness of this opportunity.
