Greetings green-yesers,

Does anyone know a good vendor for recycling large quantities of vinyl scrim? We're looking to divert 1900' of high quality material but it seems our regular vendors have stopped accepting material.

Preferably nor-cal/Bay Area but any CA companies would be helpful. Thanks!

repurposed MATERIALS takes this sort of stuff and resells it:
www.repurposedmaterialsinc.com

They focus on industrial reuse - great concept.

While not in CA, they have locations in Denver, Atlanta, Chicago.  It's worth it to sign up for their newsletter - well-done and constantly looking for new outlets for old industrial materials. Vinyl banners & scrim seem to move from there very well.
Good resource for everyone on this list.

Can also contact Relan.  They make bags out of used banners:

Kari Brizius - President
Relan
2535 Pilot Knob Road, Suite 136
Mendota Heights, MN 55120

"Relan has worked with organizations across all major industries, from major league sports teams and car manufacturers to museums and festivals. If you have excess banners, billboards, or other marketing materials that you'd rather transform than toss, we can work with you to create products that meet your unique needs.  Our product list ranges from luggage tags and business card holders to tote bags and coolers."
"Simply send us your banners, billboards, finish line, construction mesh, or other marketing materials - we’ll even send our logistics team to you for pick up - and we’ll ship the final product to you. No materials? No problem. We can provide the materials and use your logo on the products."
