About the Zero Waste National
Business Conference:
The U.S. Zero Waste Business Council
(USZWBC) hosts the only national conference focused solely on Zero Waste
Business success stories, challenges, needs and opportunities.
USZWBC will highlight the third party
certification system it’s developing for businesses that meet the ZWIA
Zero Waste Business Principles. This will be the preeminent program
for rating how well businesses perform in minimizing their discarding of
non-hazardous solid wastes and maximizing their efficiency in the use of
resources. This is the missing link in green certification programs that
will address how non-hazardous solid wastes are handled.
USZWBC will provide the highest quality educational program at this
Conference on Zero Waste business operations, economics and policies for
professionals from all business sectors. The Conference will help
professionals gain practical knowledge, explore new business
opportunities, and learn how to create healthier, more productive and
more efficient businesses. The Conference will also provide education
resources and tools for businesses to use immediately after they leave
the Conference to get started, or complete, their efforts to pursue Zero
Waste.
