Let’s build a trail bridge! No images? Click here Dear Tom, If you’ve ever ridden on the Interurban Trail, you know it’s a gem of a route for biking between Everett, Lynnwood, Mountlake Terrace, Edmonds, Shoreline, and Seattle. But a major trail gap across State Route 104 forces riders onto busy streets and across a big, unsafe intersection. To improve this bike connection between Shoreline and Edmonds, we need folks like you willing to speak up for safer streets! Join me at an Interurban Trail event on Friday, May 29 at 1 p.m. at Echo Lake Park to show your support for a safe and continuous trail crossing. Washington Bikes supports local advocacy group North Sound Bicycle Advocates in their work for a better trail connection. On May 29 you’ll hear from King County Councilmember Rod Dembowski about the exciting next phase of this project, and from disability mobility advocate Ian Mackay. Mark your calendars and join us on the Interurban Trail to connect with your neighbors and learn how to get involved in making this trail connection a reality! Event
