-1- Google Address

It is my understanding that NWG has been forced by Google to keep our old email google group address as greenwood-phi...@googlegroups.com .

Should NWG change our google address to keep consistent naming?

-2- Seattle Streets Alliance and NWG name?

According to the Seattle Streets Alliance at https://www.streetsalliance.org/get-involved/local-group/, out of 13 named participating groups, only Northwest Greenways and 1 other have kept the old Greenways in their name. Do we want at the same time at adopt a new group name?

I defer to other people's judgment on both of the above

As someone who advocates for greenery AND safe streets, I think it's
important to keep greenways in the name to indicate our belief that one
does not come at the cost of the other.

Lee,

I saw this news about Google in the paper today as well. Thanks for bringing it to the group's attention. Maybe we should discuss at the next meeting?
