Viewlands Walk, Bike, & Roll to school day May 7
NW Greenways
Roles we need supported are:
Two (2) riders to support our routes. One (1) for the northern approach and one (1) for our southern approach. On the event date, both routes will depart starting locations around 7:15am. Review our route information in this flyer (note, the event will have earlier start times).
Two (2) volunteers to support our event table at the school from setup at 7:00am through clean up around 8:15am. These volunteers will support handing out stickers, managing treats, and other celebration items at our table outside of the school for students that participate in the event.
Day: Wednesday, May 7
Time: 7:00am-8:15am (see exact start times below)
Meeting point: For bike group riders, please meet at our route starting point at 7:05am, 5 minutes before departure, to review logistics with the route volunteer leads. For school table volunteers, please meet outside Viewlands Elementary (10525 3rd Ave NW, Seattle, 98177) around 7:00am to help with table setup and supporting the celebration.

Volunteer guidelines:
Since this event is outside of the school, we do not require SPS volunteer verification. Volunteers must follow these guidelines: (1) Never be alone with children under any circumstance, (2) support the event supervised with event leaders at all times, (3) appropriate interactions with the children include demonstrating proper riding techniques and bike safety, providing verbal encouragement, and giving high-fives (No hugs).
