Greenwich News Archive 2009: GOP Sweeps Elections

[Greenwich]

A bitter local election ended in the re-election of Peter Tesei for
First Selectman. Mr Tesei received 66% of the vote and completely
pushed Lin Lavery off the Board of Selectman.

November 3rd was a big night for Greenwich Republicans.

Republican Newcomer David Theies won a selectman’s seat and Tod
Laudonia became the tax collector.

Mr. Laudonia beat Democrat Bill Grant and Petition candidate Rick
Norvakrowski.

Democrat Drew Marzullo received more votes than his running mate Lin
Lavery and won the third Board of Selectman’s seat.
