Well the spring is almost upon us...bringing longer daylight hours for outdoors time and commuting. All the more reason to stay safe out there. See below for many updates and the next Green Wheels meeting!

• Coming up in May is Humboldt Bike Month! Look to Green Wheels for upcoming event details - including Bike to Work Day in Arcata on Thursday, May 9 and in Eureka on Thursday, May 16.
• Residents in Bayside have created a new petition to request the County of Humboldt and the City of Arcata to work together to address motorist speeding and safety for pedestrians, bicyclists, and motorists on Old Arcata Road. Check it out here to support.
• Looking to serve the community with your passion for active transportation and planning? The Active Living program of the Natural Resources Services Division of Redwood Community Action Agency has a job opening for a planner/senior planner with expertise in planning, active transportation and community outreach.
