Friend's of Peace & Justice,

We need each and everyone of you to come out and take a stand against the war on Wednesday, March 19th, the 5th anniversary of our invasion of Iraq. Join us at the intersection of Main & University in Cedar Falls from 6-7pm.

It is hard to believe that we have been at war with the people of Iraq for five years. It is Hard to believe that nearly 4,000 of our young men and women have been killed. It is hard to believe that over 100,000 Iraqis have been killed. It is hard to believe that an estimated 3 trillion dollars has been squandered.  Unfortunately its true, this is our reality and we must take it back. People will die, the war will rage on, and new ones will be started until each and every single one of you has decided that you have had enough.

Until you decide that peace is possible, war will rage on.
Until you decide that justice is within reach, war will rage on.
Until you decide that the people have the power, war will rage on.
Until you add your voice to our growing sea of change, war will rage on.

I beg of you, take your stand. Make March 19th a new day. A new day for America, a new day for the Cedar Valley.

Peace Now, 5 years too many vigil!

We call on every friend of peace & justice living in the Cedar Valley to join us on Wednesday March 19th as we remember those who this world has lost to the war & occupation in Iraq. We also renew our demand that this war be ended and all troops be brought home now! We will be holding our vigil at the intersection of Main and University in Cedar Falls from 6-7pm.

We will have lots of media at this event and must have at least 100 people in attendance so we can clearly demonstrate how serious we are about ending this war.

This will be a solemn event, you are invited to bring your own signs, and candles, a limited amount will be provided.

I can not stress enough how important your attendance is on the 5th anniversary of our invasion of Iraq.

This event is sponsored by Cedar Valley United for Peace & Justice

*Sing/Banner making party Sunday March 16th 3pm, home of Chris, Matt, and Dillon, 1610 Franklin st. Cedar Falls*
