Soros Foundation Romania would like to organize a conference in decision making on environmental matters

The Soros Foundation Romania would like to organize a conference at the end of March, in Romania, on topics like:
- access to information on environmental matters
- citizens' participation in decision making on environmental matters, the issues of the Aarhus Convention
- good governance and rule of law.
If necessary I can be more specific in some future e-mails.
We're contemplating the idea to have such a conference in Rosia Montana, West Romania, where the foundation has opened an office and maybe in Cluj, in partnership with the Law Faculty in Cluj. Fact is that in order to have an  impact we would have to organize it around these dates: March, 26-27 or 28.

Please note that the Soros Foundation Romania is going to cover only the expenses related to the participants' accommodation in Romania and possibly a field trip.

We're in the process of identifying organizations from other countries close to Romania, like Hungary, Serbia and Bulgaria as well.
