SpongeBob SquarePants has been on Nickelodeon from 1999 To Future, I Absolutely loved the TV show to this day, but does any of the SpongeBob fans heard of a banned episode of SpongeBob? well, I was the one of the people watching the episode, it was called: "SpongeBob Goes To Jail". Okay, if you never saw the episode before, it was about Spongebob getting arrested for a car wreck, and gets executed, but it was never aired. my name is David, i am 15 years old, and let me tell you this story.

I Was Playing Doodlebob and the Magic pencil on my Computer, getting to the Mr. Krabs boss fight, until i heard the Doorbell ring. I Went up to it, and found out it was a Spongebob DVD. The cover consisted of Spongebob, with a sad expression, with himself "behind bars", and It was called "Spongebob Goes to Jail." Confused, I Decided to put it in my Portable DVD Player, Plug in my headphones, And The Disc Began.

The DVD Started with the Usual FBI Warning, before going to The nickelodeon fish, But, oh god, was it totally screwed Up. The Fish was a very dark, ominous crimson red, The red of pure horror. When the fish got to the Screen, The sound of Blood splattering could be heard. Then, The DVD Menu was just a blank picture of the Cover, and I Was Forced to select Play. The episode starts with the Normal SpongeBob intro, before cutting to the title card. It was the same title card from "Doing time" But with the same title on the DVD Case. It starts with Spongebob, Watching TV With Gary, Until Someone Bangs on the Door. "Who is it?" Spongebob Asks, Before A Very angry Police officer arrives, with the entire fleet. "Are you Mr. SquarePants?" Asked the Officer. "Yes." Spongebob Said, And this is when all hell breaks Loose. Two cops come And aim their pistols at him. "What's happening?" SpongeBob Asked with worry. Gary tried to say something, but just as he was about to speak, a 3rd cop ran over, Salted AND Tazed him at the same time! They then pinned SpongeBob down and cuffed him. "SpongeBob, you are under arrest for Motor vehicle Theft and Murder of An Innocent Fish, you have the right to remain silent!" spoke the cop who dragged the weeping Spongebob to the patrol car. Patrick, Scared, Jumps out of his rock, asked if he can accompany SpongeBob. "If you want to, say goodbye to This disgrace, that is!" the female cop taunted snickering. The car drove away after that, Leaving Patrick Scared As To what happened.

The Episode Then cut to The bikini Bottom court house, as A Reporter Came on Screen. "This just in, Local Boating Criminal SpongeBob SquarePants Has been Finally Caught, And here he is." The Reporter Said. "Execute Him!" The crowd Started Chanting, Before cutting to the Judge. "Well, Mr. SquarePants, You are being charged with motor vehicle theft and Killing an innocent Fish." SpongeBob Started crying, only for the Judge to call Mrs. Puff to the Stand. "SpongeBob, he is a Physco on the Roads. Execute him, I Want SpongeBob gone!" Mrs. Puff Shouted. "Has the jury reached A Verdict?" Asked The Judge. "We the defendant Find SpongeBob." A Few Seconds of silence follows. "GUILTY!" He Said, before SpongeBob, Shocked, Begins to yell for help from Patrick. As The rest of the Chanting crowd Cheer for his arrested, While his friends looked horrified.

It cut to A Title card Reading. "The next Day." As it cut To SpongeBob, in an Electric Chair. "Well Spongebob. Any last words?" The officer Asked." But Spongebob Only cried out of Gary. "Alright. Ready, Set, Electrify!" And the Officer Flipped the switch, causing SpongeBob to be Electrocuted. And the final shot of the episode was the most disturbing. It was shot of Spongebob, with the shanks holding his arms in place. He had burns over his body, And had No Pulse. there were no credits, just silence. In A Rage, I Contacted Viacom, Demanding An Answer, but no one picked up. to this day, i still want to forget that episode.

Before my death, my former roommate Carlos, who is now in jail, gave me a pirated episode of Spongebob as a gift for my birthday. I had told him it was a childhood favorite of mine. Of course, I didn't know it was pirated until I watched it since the DVD was designed to look genuine. He didn't get away with it, he got caught and arrested for it. While I somewhat miss him, he wasn't a very good person. He was kind of shady, and a bit of a creep. He would watch true crime shows and documentaries all the time, before work, after work, all night, etc. with a huge smile on his face and always seemed to be up to no good.

That night, since Carlos was on a date with his girlfriend, I had the night to myself and I decided to watch the DVD. I put the DVD in, turned the TV and DVD player on, got comfortable in my bed and began to watch the DVD. When the episode selection screen came up, I just hit play all. The first episode was, "Gary takes a bath".

The episode was normal, until it got to the scene where Spongebob tried to throw Gary in the bath. On the DVD, he successfully threw Gary in the bath leading Gary to let out a loud, "MEOW", Gary then fell silent. Spongebob then started frantically fishing through the bathtub, yelling out nothing but an incoherent rabble. Spongebob, freaking out, panics and calls the ambulance. When they arrive, one of the paramedics is let into the house, and they go to the bathtub to try and find Gary. "I found him," hollered the paramedic. He then shows Spongebob a replica of Gary jerry-rigged out of soap scum, algae, and mold. "THAT'S NOT GARY," Spongebob shouted.

The screen then cuts to a time card that would normally be seen throughout the show with the text saying "PIRACY DETECTED!" The narrator read the text in a very loud and alert voice. The screen then cuts back to Spongebob in the bathroom with the paramedic. Spongebob is on the floor wailing while cradling the Gary-shaped pile of gunk in his arms.

Questions were racing around in my head, "This DVD is pirated? How did Carlos get this? Did he know? What's going on? What happened to Gary?" The paramedic then looked at me and said, "Piracy is a serious crime, and we know what you did! Turn the DVD player off and report this stolen property. This way maybe the court will go easy on you." Spongebob cried out, "GARY," before the screen went black. It then cut to a screen with Spongebob, alone in the bathroom. It was dark, and he was still wailing on the floor holding the pile of gunk. The text above him read, "NICKELODEON DOES NOT ENTERTAIN CRIMINALS! Nickelodeon is made for good people and not criminals like you. If you don't turn off your TV, you will be jumpscared to death!"

I didn't listen, and the BИD of DOOM just scared me to the chance of me not breathing anymore. The text read, "YOUR PIRATED COPY IS NOW DESTROYED AND YOU'RE NOW DEAD! GOOD FUCKING RIDDANCE, FROM NICKELODEON AND PARAMOUNT!" And suddenly, I died. People were here at my funeral.

"Graveyard Shift" is the first part of the 16th episode of the second season, and the 36th episode overall, of the American animated television series SpongeBob SquarePants. The episode was written by Mr. Lawrence, Jay Lender and Dan Povenmire, and the animation was directed by Sean Dempsey. Lender and Povenmire also served as storyboard directors. The episode was copyrighted in 2001 and aired on Nickelodeon in the United States on September 6, 2002.

In the episode, Squidward and SpongeBob are forced to work 24 hours a day by their boss Mr. Krabs. Squidward soon becomes bored, and tells SpongeBob a ghost story to scare him off the night shift. When SpongeBob begins to panic, Squidward tells him that the story is fictional. However, later that night, the events of the story begin to occur.

The episode featured stock footage of Max Schreck as Count Orlok from the 1922 silent film Nosferatu. Episode writer Lender proposed the idea as a gag at the end of the episode, which series creator Stephen Hillenburg accepted. Before the idea of Count Orlok, Lender thought of "Floorboard Harry", an idea that was deleted. The episode received critical acclaim upon release.

Squidward eagerly prepares to leave work at the Krusty Krab as it closes. When he refuses to take a last-minute order from a customer, Mr. Krabs overhears the conversation and is inspired to create a night shift effective immediately. The restaurant remains open, leaving an eager SpongeBob and an annoyed Squidward to work 24 hours a day.

Exasperated with his boss' demands and annoyed with SpongeBob, Squidward tries to scare SpongeBob into being afraid of the night shift. He tells the story of the "Hash-Slinging Slasher", a former Krusty Krab fry cook who used a spatula as a prosthetic hand after accidentally cutting off his real hand and was killed by a passing bus. The story claims that the Slasher was fired at his funeral after his accidental death, and that his ghost returns to the Krusty Krab every Tuesday night for revenge. Squidward says that the Slasher's arrival will be indicated by three warnings: the lights flickering on and off, the phone ringing with no caller on the other end, and a ghost bus arriving to drop him off. SpongeBob reacts with intense fear; although amused at first, Squidward becomes irritated and admits that he invented the story.

"Graveyard Shift" was written by Mr. Lawrence, Jay Lender and Dan Povenmire, with Sean Dempsey as animation director. Lender and Povenmire also served as storyboard directors.[3][4] The episode originally aired on Nickelodeon in the United States on September 6, 2002 at 8:00pm, with a TV-Y7 parental rating.[5]

Lender proposed to have Count Orlok of the 1922 silent film Nosferatu appear as a gag in the final scene. Series creator Stephen Hillenburg accepted Lender's proposal and agreed. Lender said, "Steve gave you the opportunities to do things that would really be memorable, if you could sell him on it." Lender decided that the characters should refer to Orlok as "Nosferatu" so that he would be more broadly recognizable, and used a still from the film that he found on the Internet. Nick Jennings photoshopped the smile on Orlok to make sure it matched Lender's board drawing. Lender said, "It was my baby, and I held its hand until we shipped it overseas to Rough Draft Studios in South Korea." Before Orlok, Lender thought of "Floorboard Harry", a deleted gag that concludes the broadcast episode, in which he initially flickers the lights.[6][7]
