Strategic Planning for Greenovation Hub

Dear colleagues,

 

We will be meeting on Oct 28-30 for the strategic planning of Greenovation Hub and Forward Works.

 

SP will be chairing the meeting and Apple will be the lead facilitator.

 

A more detailed agenda will be send out early next week.

 

Meanwhile, as i have to some of you individually, there are some preparation work needed to be done.

 

For Greenovation Hub, the following topics will be discussed:

 

- Climate: reflection and next steps (Xiaojing and Yanjun)

- Water: detail plan for 2012 (Lican)

- Rio+20: where we are and the role of the Hub (Lina)

- Overseas investment and green finance (Yunwen and Yu Yin)

- Admin and operations etc (Jingjing)

- Fundraising and sustainability (Owen and SP)

- Structure and culture (SP)

- Food for thoughts:  Ecology and the Social / Unenvironmentalising environment (Lican/ SP)

 

 

- based on these, we need to craft an overall plan for 2012.

- we need also to work on the brand, the vision/ mission statement, and a development strategy

 

For those who will be responsible for the session, please prepare a very short introduction (better in ppt to organize your thinkings; 10 mins intro max). Dont talk about factual narration. Try to do analysis of the situation, and focus other team members on key issues which they can and should help to produce concrete outcomes. Throw a few quesitons at the end of your intro for group discussion.

 

As you can see, this is going to be a very tight meeting.

Expect intensive discussion and working.

 

Evening working groups might be needed. Please try to keep them free.
