Hey Guys,

Sorry for the SPAM, but this got real when I called someone in our warehouse in Illinois and I got a voicemail because my co-workers are out of work, picking up pieces of their house and lives.  If you guys know anyone that is interested in helping out, some of my co-workers houses were destroyed by the recent tornadoes in Illinois.  Our warehouse/distribution center was just a few miles from the path of an EF-4 tornado, so most of the employees living in the region were heavily affected. The tornado basically turned everything in its path into a war zone.

Photos are in the forwarded email.  Pretty bad devastation... These guys lost everything except their lives.  If you know anyone willing to help out, please let me know, and have them send all donations to:

Easton Bell Sports
1 Innovation Rd
Rantoul, IL 61866

Sorry for the SPAM - but please pass the word around and help if you can! I'm sending to you, knowing you're either well connected, or closely affiliated with the bicycle industry. These guys work at the warehouse for Easton Bell Sports (think of the Bell & Giro bike helmets you all have worn at some point).  Please contact me directly if you plan to contribute anything.  If you cannot or are not interested in helping out, my apologies, and please just disregard this message.

Thanks!
Keith

Scotts Valley Team,

Many of you may not know that Helen Rodgers, our Accounts Payable Manager, was (one of the many) affected by the tornadoes that cause devastation this past weekend.  Helen and her husband were inside their home at the time a tornado directly struck their home.  They are both very lucky to be alive and not seriously injured.  However, their home of over 26 years was completely destroyed; with ALL of their possessions lost or destroyed.

In an effort to help Helen and her family, we are holding a gift card drive. We are collect gift cards in any denomination. Gift cards can come from places like: Wal-Mart, Target, Visa/MC, American Express or Amazon.

If you would like to participate there are two ways to do so:

·         Purchase a gift card yourself and drop it off at the front desk.

·         Drop off cash at the front desk and we will purchase gift cards on your behalf.

We will collect donations until Friday, December 20th.

The following pictures provide a snapshot of the destruction and devastation Helen, her family & the community of Gifford experienced.
