Boston Bikes is seeking to contract with a web designer to create and overhaul our website, www.bostonbikes.org. Candidates should be skilled in translating wireframes to CSS code and creating different templates for different styles of pages. Experience building interactive sites with Wordpress and/or Squarespace ideal. We're seeking a whiz in blog format/Web 2.0, who can cleanly embed code, plug-in media (images, movies), build interactive forms, use established widgets (calendars, Facebook embeds) or write them yourself. Our site must be compatible across browsers. Our emphasis will be on very rapidly creating a clean functional site.
We have much of the graphic design portion completed. Experience with Photoshop and light movie editing appreciated, but not required.
