Hi Everyone,

Registration for the Great Brewers Gran Prix of Gloucester opens on Monday 22 August at noon.
Some may have noticed that we were originally to open this week. A couple of issues need to be worked on before we could open so I apologize for any inconvenience.

The staging policies have been updated on BikeReg and our event web page.

We're hosting "Club Row' again this year. On Bikereg, you can sign up for one 10x10 spot. If you need more, please email me directly. Half the proceeds from Club Row go to local charities. Last year we supported the Gloucester Writer's Center and the Gloucester Fisherman's Athletic Fund.

As you may know, we are part of two race series this year. All the amateur classes fall under the auspices of the Verge New England Championship Cyclocross Series. We are excited to again be a part of this series. The UCI events are races 1 & 2 of the Shimano New England Professional Cyclocross Series Presented by Verge (NEPCX). GPG is excited to partner with Providence, Northampton & Warwick.

There are two other races I'd like to make sure you know about as well. On the Wednesday before Gloucester, the Minuteman Road Club is hosting the Midnight Ride Cyclocross. On the Wednesday between Gloucester and Providence is the Night Weasels Cometh.  Look for those races on BikeReg soon.

On behalf of host club Essex County Velo, we look forward to seeing you October 1st & 2nd! ...and yes the Great Brewers Beer Tent will be open.

Best Regards,

Paul Boudreau
