It’s a busy harbor – help make it a safer one!

The Harbor Operations Education Subcommittee invites all members of the harbor maritime community to participate in a half-day assembly and discussion.

Saturday March 24th 10:00am – 2:00pm

Pier 15 in Lower Manhattan, aboard the Hornblower Hybrid.  Gangway opens at 9:30am for breakfast and networking

The centerpiece of the event will be a panel of mariners who operate a variety of vessel types in our harbor:

●  Human-powered Boats
●  Sailboats
●  Recreational Powerboats
●  Commercial Ferries
● Tugs and Barges
● Deep-draft Ships

They will lead a dialogue and respond to questions about navigational challenges and safety concerns.
Lunch, topical breakout groups, and networking will follow.

Join us to share your own experiences, ask questions and participate in workshopping solutions to help make our waters safer for everyone!
The vessel will remain docked during the program.

Tickets are free but advance registration is required: https://sharedharborday2018.eventbrite.com
