Subject: I need your help
Hello
I'm on vacation starting today, but I was up at 6 am to hand out fliers to residents of Kirkland, a community on the West Island of Montreal... I'm not a morning person, but this is important enough to lose some sleep over.
Montreal only has one natural river flowing through it, and guess what? The forest that surrounds it is threatened. Money is, once again, speaking louder than what makes sense. I guess it's not good enough that most of Montreal is grey with housing and industrial development - they want it all!
Please join me in signing this petition to save this rare tract of land. If you enjoy trees, water, escaping from concrete and highways, please take 25 seconds out of your day to show your support. Every signature counts.

Could institutions of higher education lead in the transition to a new world powered by current sunlight? Why not? The limits are no longer technological or even economic, but those of imagination and commitment."
