Hey folks
This is a bit out of Davis but if anyone is interested in joining I'd be happy to drive a few volunteers over from my place on Morrison.  If you're interested let me (and Alison) know!
Best
Alyssa

Hi all,

I am going to be doing a small planting on Thursday morning in the new Lincoln Park pollinator planting and I’m putting out a last-minute call for any volunteers who might want to join me. We’ve got about 150 plants that weren’t ready when we did the big mid-May planting and so far I have 2 people to do the planting. I could use a couple more hands to make the task a little lighter and wondered if you/people in your network would want to join us?

**Anyone who wants to join should send me an email to let me know.

Time: Thursday, June 18, 9-11am

Location: Lincoln Park Community Garden/skate park. The closest intersection is Wyatt and Marion Streets. https://maps.app.goo.gl/VW1qxy4r8MeyXriS7

Note to bring what you need for work outside:

  • Clothes that can get dirty
  • Sun protection
  • Water
  • Snacks
  • Any tools you like to use for planting (trowel, spade, knee pad, gloves, etc.)
  • Rain gear (if rain is predicted)

A couple notes:

  • Parking is very limited. We recommend travel by public transportation, bike, or other.
  • There is a porta potty on site for bathroom access.
  • I will have some extra gloves and tools, if anyone needs them.

Thanks all!

Best,

Alison
