Green Campus is organizing a Sustainability Weekend Event on campus
for the weekend of March 28-31st. This is the last weekend of March.
The event will start Friday night and go to Monday morning. That
Monday, March 31st is Cesar Chavez Day and classes are not held this
day.

Mission Statement: Invite students from other campuses to come to HSU
and see what students are doing here to work on sustainability
issues. Bring HSU students, clubs, and faculty together for a
weekend to share, celebrate, teach, and learn about sustainability.
To
create new relationships and networks on campus and with other
campuses. To brainstorm and problem solve sustainability issues
facing
our campuses.

Sorry I couldn't figure out how to attach file to this message.

If you are interested in being involved with this event, we are going
to need help developing the discussion/workshops for each topic,
organizing speakers, food for event, fieldtrips and transportation,
publicity and invitations to other schools, and more.
We are holding a planning meeting Monday February 18th @ 4:00 in the
CCAT basement. Hope to see you all there. If you can't make the
meeting, we will be talking about our progress and needs at the
coalition meeting on Friday Feb 22 @ 3:00 CCAT basement.

Thanks,
Drea
