Just a reminder that your presence is requested on Wednesday, August 29th from 1 - 3 pm in
Goodwin Forum located in Nelson Hall East for a Sustainability Brainstorm
Session with Humboldt State's first Sustainability Coordinator, Mr.
TallChief Comet.
The brainstorm session will allow you to pick an area of Sustainability
(energy, waste, transportation, food, procurement, etc.) and share what our
campus has accomplished in the past in this area, what projects are in the
making and what you would like to see happen. At the end of the brainstorm
session each group will report back to TallChief and the rest of the room
regarding their ideas & any obstacles they foresee.
This will help TallChief become familiarized with the projects, individuals,
and groups that are interested in making HSU a more sustainable campus.
This event is hosted by the Environmental and Social Responsibility Club
Coalition. Snacks and beverages will be provided by the Green Campus
Program.
Please pass this invitation along to anyone that has knowledge or interest
in making our campus more Sustainable. I encourage all administrators,
faculty, staff, students, and organizations to attend in order to make this
event rich with information.
