President Morales has called for a halt to global warming, a halt to
sea level rise, protection of ecosystems, respect for all life, and a
more equitable society. At the same time, scientists are concerned
that the Earth system is liable to pass certain "tipping points", when
it becomes impossible to prevent catastrophe for all life on this
planet - a major extinction event.

Cloudworld is organising an event at the World People's Conference on
Climate Change and the Rights of Mother Earth conference in Bolivia,
entitled "Necessary steps to save the planet".

Thursday, 8.30 - 10.30 am, 22nd April 2010, UNIVALLE, biblio P3

Israel is currently digging the biggest cannel ever dug from the Red Sea to the Dead Sea to fill it with water. This will make Israel a sea port and lower ocean levels a few inches.

I proposed the same thing to Arnold Swartzanegger to flood the Mohavie and Death Valley with a canal from the Gulf of Aquaba. This would allow ships to travel into Death Valley and creat thousands of mile of waterfront property thereby solving California's financial problems. Death Valley is 220 feet below sea level and Mohavie is about 50 feet. The Sea of This will absorb some of the melt water from Greenland. It would also change the climate of the southern states making them wetter so that people could grow crops (food) in Arizona and Nevada. I sent both Barack Obama and Arnold e-mails and letters about this. All I got back was a form letter from the Governor's office.

When you grow things it sucks up CO2 and the added cloud cover cools off the climate. Earth is a sefl regulating creature if given half a chance.
Instead of shooting itself in the foot mankind should take a more proactive approach. Instead of putting people out of work, killing them and starving them with regulations we sould go to work.
