Hello everyone,
Today was our last day open, we are now closed for July and what a great feeling.
New seed and plant catalogues are already coming in the mail.
Michiel we have some great baskets we can donate, thank you for starting the plant and colour relief.
It was a good season, busier, most stressful for sure looking forward to a break.
Mark your calendars for the ball grower day in August, Geoff Wood what day is it? Hopefully I will see you there.

Hello greenhouse growers,

Please mark August 10th on your calendars for the Ball Grower Day in Red Deer (The Chalet at Westerner Park).

This is a great day to pick up information on the new varieties for 2017, meet plant breeder representatives and exchange info. with other grower members!

There will be lunch served along with morning coffee (time- 9am -3:30 pm).

Dr. Hammer (Dummen Orange) and Mark Freeman (Nature’s Source Plant Food) along with Karen Bunting (Darwin Perennials), Kelli Gibson (Pan American Seed), and Rick Mast (former owner of Mast Young Plants and now Sales Manager for Ball Floraplant) are coming!

Rick Mast will be giving a presentation on Ball Floraplant’s new propagation farm in Nicaragua  (Las Limas) – what’s involved in getting an unrooted cutting either directly to you or to your liner supplier.

Red Deer Catering is handling the food arrangements again this year so you won’t go hungry.
