Dear friends of Greenheart,

This morning we received a very strange and disturbing message from
Claudia Junqeira, a Brazilian journalist who stayed at the Casita
Verde for some weeks during the summer time, originally volunteering
to work with our web based projects as well as helping out in general
at the centre. After a short time we became aware that she was
suffering from an acute mental disorder and was in fact taking heavy
medications in an attempt to subdue her condition. She eventually
became so ill that she was admitted to the psychiatric ward in the
Ibiza hospital for some time until her condition became more stable.
Claudia is now back in Brazil.

Although she seemed to leave Ibiza peacefully and with no apparent
grudge against any one of us, or our organisation, we were all shocked
to receive today's message. We would therefore like to inform our
members and friends who received a copy of the email, that her
comments and allegations are totally unfounded and should be
completely ignored.
Obviously, the action of receiving unknown volunteers at our centre
always holds a certain degree of risk for our movement and
occasionally we have to deal with such unforeseen consequences.
However, we continue to have faith in our great work and see all these
things as part of our daily challenge, even though it further
emphasizes the need to be far more careful when inviting strangers
into our community.

In order to keep messages posted here at the Greenheart Mailing List
on topic, we have removed Claudia's comments from the system.
