I can tell you Grapevine Bedford does not maintain that. I copied the Merrimack HOA. Someone there might know.

Very helpful. Thanks that's a start.  I'm working up a Background to pass along to the next Board.

Do you know who the President is of the Grapevine Road HOA?  I wonder if they maintain the hiking trail and playground.

Hi Dan,

As far as I know our covenants and bylaws are the same. Grapevine Road/Bedford (and 1 house on Baileys Green) was constructed in 2010 and the original association (as far as I've been told) didn't want to add any more houses so we ended up with our own HOA (Grapevine Road/Merrimack also has a separate HOA). Our official name is Greenfield Farms Phase X. Our dues are $275/year as we have much less common land to maintain than the original HOA. We do not share your website (we don't have one) and we don't attend your annual meeting. The only thing we really share is the Facebook group. Hope that helps!

Hi Kristin,

Since taking over as Secretary of the Bedford HOA, I continue to wonder where our two Associations overlap.  Do we share the same Covenants and do we share the same website?  Do we pay the same annual dues?.  Ours are $435/year.

Why and when did we split from the Master Association.

Can you fill me in?

Thanks,

Danny Dodd, Secretary

Good afternoon,

The Grapevine road in Merrimack is its own HOA. When we were formed we looked into joining the Bedford side but because we reside in Merrimack the town told us that we needed to be our own. The playground and hiking trails actually belong to the Merrimack residents. This also includes the basketball court. The hiking and fitness trails have been closed for 5 years as they follow closely to the back of residents homes.

Best,
Larry

Hello Kristin and Dan,

This is Jason Lancaster (23 Grapevine) responding to this email thread. Our HOA meeting for the GF Phase XII (Merrimack) will be held tomorrow evening. At that point, we are electing at least 2 new board members, so I will ask that they follow-up with you with the current / future board members names and positions. Also, the hiking trails were required as part of our development by the town and they are considered separate from the common areas (two open spaces at the town line, one of which has the playground and basketball court. Only the common land areas are currently maintained by the association. There has been ongoing discussions surrounding the removal of the fitness trail equipment that runs behind the even numbered properties on Grapevine road in Merrimack, but there has not yet been a consensus as how best to approach those items.

I hope this helps, and I have copied the current board members on this email as well, so they're aware. Their names are as follows: Tinique Lenderman, Ben Aalto, and Tim Moores.

Sincerely,

-jason
