Greetings everybody, hope you are all having an awesome springtime,

Recently there have been several requests to the board from homeowners to consider improvements to the children's playground area.  One proposed improvement includes the purchase and installation of additional playground equipment, specifically something similar to that found in the attached link:

Then board has approved the purchase and installation of such an improvement in the playground Common Area .  The installation is currently planned to be executed by HOA Board members.  Total material expenditure is estimated to be approximately $200 and this improvement is consistent with Article III, Section 1(D) of the HOA Covenants.  It is currently evaluated that this improvement would be covered by the same insurance terms that currently cover all owner use of Common Areas.

The board would now like to open the decision to improve the commons area to a 2 week homeowner notification and comment period.  Please respond with any comment, objection or question to the HOA board at the following email address:

The board will address any comments in this period as they are received and if no issues are pending after the two week comment period (July 1st), procurement and installation will begin as soon as convenient.

Thanks for taking the time to let us know what you think, we apprentice your feedback!

Hope everyone has a safe and happy summer!

Thanks Jason, I think i fixed the group list now, but I am forwarding this to the list to be sure the rest of the baord gets it.

We will definitely consider fixing the slide as well while we're out there.  Thanks for the feedback!

All,

My wife and I (23 Grapevine) have no objections to the planned additional equipment for the playground, and believe it will enhance the overall usage. Also, was there any discussion/consideration for repairing/replacing the slide at the same time?

Thanks.

Thanks for the feedback Jeramy.  I think I fixed the group list, but feel free to continue to respond to my email as well if you have trouble.

Our kids safety is of course our #1 priority, so by all means please feel free to provide links to suggestions for alternate improvements.  The board will certainly consider your suggestions before moving forward.

Thanks!

Hi Dave!
I tried to reply to the group with a comment and I received a delivery notification failure. Anyway, here is my message!

Hello,
I wanted to comment on the playground equipment upgrade. I personally feel like the piece of equipment recommended looks extremely dangerous! I see kids slipping and falling through the holes. I wouldn't want my kids near that. Isn't there a better use of the money? Can we offer any other suggestions for new equipment?
Thanks!
Jeramy Thomas
