Update: Basketball court installation

All,

After receiving 20 responses over the special note from the HOA, with 15 homes in favor of the proposal and 5 against, the HOA board will be moving forward with this proposal. Given that there were several homes that noted a desire to address other HOA-wide areas first, the board, as previously outlined, will be working to address all common-area spaces when possible as well as working to minimize the impact on surrounding homes by placing the court toward the back of the open-space and placing signage indicating the space if for primary HOA use, loitering will be reported and addressing liabilities for use of the space.

Our only request is that the board mark the property lines and follow any set back rules that the town may have.

Louis,

I will work with the rest of the board to ensure that all property lines and set back requirements are followed. Personally, I would like the placement to be as close to the back/Bedford side as possible and will see what options exist from the paving company who will be putting the court in.
