Friends' Fall Event

The Friends of the Greenfield Public Library will hold our annual Friends Fall Event on Saturday, November 10 from 5-7pm at Stoneleigh Burnham School. We hope you will save the date and join us for an evening of socializing and fund raising. In addition to good company and beautiful auction items, we will have our usual beer and wine reception accompanied by tasty appetizers.

The Friends have been very busy during the summer and early fall handcrafting auction items for the Fall Event. We have classic sets of children’s blocks, gorgeous hand painted and natural wood bookends, toddler seats, batik placemats and napkins, and a very large and exciting array of gift baskets. This year’s gift baskets include several of the old favorites --Wine baskets, Coffee and Tea baskets, Knitting baskets and Baking baskets. Additionally, we have some exciting new themed basket such as an Automotive basket, a Handyman/Home Tool basket, an Olive Oil/Balsamic Vinegars basket, and a Healing Oils and Lotions basket. All in all there are over 50 gift baskets for perusal and bidding.

The Friends also have received donations from local artists and gift certificates from numerous local businesses. We have cutting boards, wooden bowls, pottery, jewelry, woven items, whimsical sculptures, and much, much more.

The Fall Event is the Friends major fundraising effort of the year. All money raised will help maintain vital Library programs and services. Please plan to join us for a fun filled evening of support for the Greenfield Public Library.

Tickets for the Fall Event are $20.00 and include admission and refreshments. They may be purchased at the Library or at the door.
