Happy Birthday, Harry Potter!

Get your ticket to the Hogwarts Express for the Greenfield Public
Library’s celebration of Harry Potter’s 17th birthday on Saturday,
July 30 from 7 to 9 p.m.

Using the whole library for fun and games, the wizards from the world
of J. K. Rowling will once more fill our world with their special
magic.

Last fall, the Muggle library served as “Hogwarts in hiding” for an
autumn feast hosted by Professor McGonagall and lovable Rubeus Hagrid.
This time, Molly Weasley enlists Hermione’s help to turn back time so
that Harry can properly celebrate his birthday after leaving to fight
the Wizarding war.

Come in costume if you like and raise a glass of Butter Beer with a
cast of 30 Hogwarts characters. Enjoy a summer night of festivities in
honor of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” Part 2.

Look for the “Platform 9 and ¾” sign at the back door of the library
and present your red ticket to the Prefects to enter Harry’s world.

Thanks to the Friends of the Greenfield Public Library, this event is
free and open to the public and is suggested for ages 10 and up. To
get a ticket to the party, come to the children’s circulation desk.
