Hello Everyone!

Career Week is coming up in May! We have officially nailed down the dates!

Here is our schedule for the week:

MONDAY 5/4	TUESDAY 5/5	WEDNESDAY 5/6	THURSDAY 5/7	FRIDAY 5/8
Investigating Careers	Careers in my Community	Community Heroes	Career Fair  12-3 pm	Career Day BINGO
Teachers will lead an activity to help students explore their dream jobs!	Walking Field Trip down 35th Street for an “I Spy” Career Scavenger Hunt!	Students will check out a Chicago Fire Truck, an Ambulance, and a Police Car right here at Greene!	Students will meet real life industry workers!	Let’s have some fun after all of our learning!

How we need your help: We are hosting a Community Career Fair in the gym on Thursday, May 7th from 12:00 - 3:00 PM, and we need you to help us find amazing guest speakers. Guests will have a table in the gym where students can approach them to ask questions about their jobs and education.

We are specifically looking for:

• Dentists, healthcare workers, or first responders (Fire/Police)

• Chefs, bakers, or tradespeople

• Fine arts professionals

• Small or large business owners

• Anyone you think would be great!
  

• Pilots

• Athletes, "gamers," or influencers who can speak to the hard work behind the screen!
