Hello Everyone,  If you are inviting guest speakers to Career Day please use this template if it helps you!  Copy and paste to an email, fill out the information and send it to them as soon as possible.

I hope you’re doing well! Greene School is hosting our annual Community Career Fair on Thursday, May 7th from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM, and I immediately thought of you.

We are looking for inspiring professionals to set up a table in our gym, showcase some cool artifacts from their job, and talk with our students about their career paths. Your experience as a (insert career)  would be incredibly valuable for them to hear about.

Because student safety is our top priority, Chicago Public Schools requires all guest speakers to complete a quick volunteer clearance process. It takes about a month to fully clear, so we are trying to get our guests registered as soon as possible.

Here are the steps to get cleared:

1. Complete the quick Online Volunteer Application.

2. Stop by the Greene School main office to present your current, unexpired ID.

3. Look for an email from CPS to complete a short "SafeSchool" online training.

4. CPS will email you your final approval!
