Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Functional Business Analyst with strong hands-on experience in PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 Billing implementations. The ideal candidate will have deep functional knowledge of the Billing, Customer Contracts, and Accounts Receivable (AR) modules and experience leading end-to-end implementation activities including requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, configuration, and system integration testing.
This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with large cross-functional teams in a structured project environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze business requirements from Finance and Billing stakeholders.
- Conduct fit-gap analysis and recommend system solutions.
- Configure and support implementation of PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 Billing.
- Understand and support end-to-end flow between:
- Customer Contracts
- Billing
- Accounts Receivable
- Perform hands-on end-to-end testing including:
- System Integration Testing (SIT)
- Interface testing with third-party systems
- Validation of converted data
- Review system capabilities and recommend enhancements or modifications.
- Create functional design documents, process flows, and user documentation.
- Support user training and go-live activities.
- Collaborate with technical teams, project managers, and business stakeholders.
- Participate in project meetings and provide status updates.
- Support off-hours activities as needed during critical project phases.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience as a Functional Business Analyst on PeopleSoft FSCM implementation projects.
- 8+ years of hands-on experience with PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 Billing.
- Strong understanding of integration between Customer Contracts, Billing, and Accounts Receivable modules.
- Experience performing end-to-end system integration and external interface testing.
- Proficiency with Microsoft O365 tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
- Experience collaborating with large teams using MS Teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a public sector (Federal, State, or Local Government) environment.
- Experience with CAPPS Financials (Comptroller of Public Accounts).
- Experience using Jira.
- Familiarity with Scrum/Agile framework.
