Location: Austin TX - Hybrid

Duration: 4 Months

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer to support the quality assurance efforts of enterprise-level applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing both automated and manual test cases, ensuring high-quality software delivery in an Agile environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Playwright or similar frameworks
  • Execute manual and automated test cases to validate application functionality
  • Create test plans, test cases, and test execution strategies
  • Identify, log, and track defects using tools like Jira
  • Develop and maintain Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM)
  • Perform performance and functional testing
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to resolve issues
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives)
  • Support testing activities across Development, QA, UAT, and Production environments
  • Lead or assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Generate test reports and ensure proper documentation of QA processes

 

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in QA Automation and Manual Testing
  • Strong experience in:
    • Test script creation and execution
    • Automation frameworks
    • Performance testing
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools (e.g., Playwright, Selenium, or similar)
  • Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira
  • Strong understanding of software testing lifecycle (STLC)
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple testing activities

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with JavaScript, HTML
  • Familiarity with tools like WebdriverIO, JMeter
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Knowledge of test management tools (XRay, Zephyr)
  • Experience in accessibility testing
