We are seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Inventory and Costing Functional Consultant to join a long-term engagement with a Retail industry customer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in multiple end-to-end implementations, with deep expertise in requirements gathering, solution design, and functional configuration.
Lead functional workshops to gather and document business requirements for Inventory and Costing modules
Design and configure Oracle Cloud Inventory Management (items, organizations, transfers, reservations, consignment, cycle counting, etc.)
Design and configure Oracle Cloud Costing (cost spreads, cost adjustments, periodic costing, average/LIFO/FIFO, standard costing, actual costing)
Collaborate with technical teams to define integration requirements (ERP to WMS, SCM, Finance)
Support SIT, UAT, and data migration activities (FBDI, ADFdi, spreadsheets)
Create functional design documents, configuration workbooks, and test scripts
Provide post-go-live support and resolve functional issues
Work independently with business users and stakeholders in a remote environment
10+ years of experience in Oracle Cloud SCM functional consulting
Minimum 2–3 full lifecycle implementations of Oracle Cloud Inventory and Costing
Strong understanding of Inventory:
Organizations, subinventories, locators
Item master, catalogues, cross-reference
Inventory transactions, inter-org transfers
Reservations, picks, allocations
Cycle counting, physical inventory
Consigned inventory, WMS integration
Strong understanding of Costing:
Cost methods (average, FIFO, LIFO, standard, actual)
Periodic vs perpetual costing
Cost adjustments and distributions
Landed cost management
Intercompany and intracompany costing
Experience with Oracle Cloud reporting tools (OTBI, BI Publisher)
Ability to translate business needs into functional specs for technical teams
Excellent communication skills – must thrive in remote, client-facing role
Experience in Retail industry (highly preferred)
Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Supply Chain, Order Management, or Procurement modules (plus)
Experience with FBDI, ADFdi, and REST/SOAP integrations
Oracle Cloud certification in Inventory or Costing
