EDS announces a comprehensive training program on DAYLIGHTING BUILDINGS

Dear All,

We are starting a series of professional training programs in specific areas of Building Science as part of the EDS Continuing Professional Development (CPD). The objective of EDS CPD is to enhance the skills of professionals in the building and construction industry.

The first one in this series is 'DAYLIGHTING BUILDINGS'. We will cover basic theory, Ecotect and Radiance and most importantly - analysis of information. Unlike other training programs which tend to mostly be an overview of the subject, the intent of this program is to make sure that the participants can do the analysis on their own. I will be conducting this program along with my colleagues. The key feature of the training program is that the program is designed in such a way that it first clears the concept of shading and daylighting with theory and manual exercises(generating shadow mask with 3D Protractor etc) and then teach how to use a simulation tool to design and optimize the design with respect to shading and day lighting.

Environmental Design Solutions [EDS] is pleased to announce a first of its kind comprehensive training program on Daylighting Buildings in Mumbai and Delhi.

EDS is a sustainability consulting firm focusing on the built environment.
