Greenbrier Valley Farmers Market

Saturdays, 8:00am - 1:00pm AND Wednesdays, 3:00pm - 7:00pm at the green lot next to Arbuckle Lane and 219 in Lewisburg


The Greenbrier Valley Farmers Market has farm raised meats, free range eggs, seasonal fruits and vegetables, cut flowers, jams and much more all grown and produced here in the Greenbrier Valley. You can also top the morning off by enjoying warm sweet cinnamon rolls and a cup of coffee.

Lewisburg Farmers Market

Saturdays, 8:30am. - 1:00pm between the Post Office and Methodist Church in downtown Lewisburg


This Saturday, October 5, New River Community College's Phi Theta Kappa Academic Honorary students will be selling cyclamen plants at the Lewisburg Farmers Market.  The money raised will be used to offset the costs of spaying or neutering stray cats in Greenbrier County. Please join us at the Market to help make Phi Theta Kappa's fundraiser a success!


Bill Whipple of Talking Hill Farm will be bringing his cider press to the market.  Come join in on the fun and help make some cider.  On Saturday, October 19th, the Lewisburg Farmers Market will be hosting the West Virginia Woodturners Association in their annual "Empty Bowls" benefit sale to raise money for local food banks that serve Greenbrier County.  Mark your calendars and look for more information in next week’s article.  We hope to see you at market is Saturday.

Attention Customers: Due to circumstances beyond our control- unusual weather patterns and an unpredictable growing season- production has not been what we had hoped and planned for this year. In light of these challenges, we have decided to open the online market on an every-other-week basis earlier than usual. 


The next ordering period begins this Sunday, October 6th with deliveries on Thursday, October 10th.


Our very own Byrnside Branch Farm is now open for farm fun including a corn maze, a little corn maze, fire pits, petting zoo, wagon rides, and more! Schedule a family day or just stop in and see the beautiful views on the farm. Visit www.byrnsidebranchfarm.com for more information.


Several of our pasture meat producing farms (also members of the Greenbrier Valley Pasture Network) are hosting farm tours this weekend, October 5th and 6th! For ticket information, please visit www.gvpnfarmtour.com.


This is a first annual event that will expand to more farms on the tour next year. The weekend will be a great opportunity for families to visit a diversified group of farm practices throughout beautiful countryside! Pack a picnic and join in the fun. A Greenbrier Valley farm tour one day and a visit to Byrnside Branch the next would make for a lovely fall weekend in southeast West Virginia!
