--The March 13th workshop is now full, but there is still room in the March 20th workshop--

Grafting Workshops March 13th & March 20th

Ever want to have your own fruit tree, or be able to take a small cutting from one of your favorites and make another?  Well join us on March 13th or 20th at S&S Farm.

The WVU Extension Service is partnering with S&S Farm to bring you an informative hands-on fruit tree grafting workshop.  This workshop will cover proven techniques to asexually reproduce fruit trees using grafting.  The workshops will begin at 4:15pm and the cost is $25 for each person, this will cover the cost of the two grafted trees you will get at the end of the workshop.  Participants can bring their own cuttings if they’d like and rootstock will be provided.

S&S Farm is located 8 miles east of Marlinton on Rte. 39, (2 miles east of Huntersville and 1 mile west of Minnehaha Springs), the two high tunnels on the farm can be seen from the road.  Space is limited to 15 people per session so to sign up or for more information please call the WVU Extension Office at 304-799-4852.
