I have spoken to each of you in the past about LeadAR.  This is the two year program through cooperative extension that allowed me to travel to DC, Louisiana, and Greece, as well as innumerable sites throughout Arkansas to learn about the issues facing Arkansans.  The program was formative for me in how I pursue work and service goals.  I highly suggest the program to each of you and encourage you to apply.

Now, through September 16th, is your opportunity to become part of LeadAR’s success stories. The University of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture Cooperative Extension Service is now accepting applications for LeadAR’s Class 17, which will begin in February 2015.

Five state legislators, 30 years of learning, scores of community success stories, and a network that is 450 members strong. That is just part of the legacy that comes with being part of LeadAR, the Lead Arkansas program.
