Assistance required for Chemotherapy

Greetings from HOPE, Puducherry.

I often get mails that free heart operation is done somewhere and free dialysis is done, etc.

1. Kindly let us know whether free Chemotherapy is available anywhere in Tamil Nadu or Puducherry.

2. This patient 21 year old girl (from economically challenged fishermen family from Mudaliarkuppam) is taking treatment at Cancer Institute, Adyar, Chennai. Their site mentions, `Those wanting to avail free treatment will have to bring the requisite paperwork certifying their socio-economic level', but they are demanding Rs.5 lakh for Chemotherapy from this family. Anybody knows better information?

3. May I request you to extend your assistance in the form of cheque or DD in favour of `Mr. Karunakaran S, A/c No. 11323741588, State Bank of India, Koonimedu' and send it to our address mentioned below?
