Green Parkers

Good morning!

Just a quick update on the follow ups from the last meeting we had on 8 July 2012 (the draft minutes are attached).  We have held discussions with Mavoko Municipal Council and Angelica of Superior Homes (K) Ltd on various occasions since then.

1. Angelica undertook to provide a sample storage area design that would be circulated to all the residents for their approval or rejection

2. Should this be approved, this would be the standard applicable in the Estate and the deed of covenants would be appropriately amended and the Municipal Council of Mavoko appropriately advised

3. Should it not be accepted, then the status quo would remain

4. In any event, Martin of Hse. No. 70 has undertaken to comply with the outcome.  If we approve the design, he will appropriately ensure the structure in place complies.  If you do not approve of the design, he will immediately demolish.

While this clearly is at variance with the decision arrived at the meeting, we would like to reassure you that the outcome will be the same as meeting intended.  So, we are requesting the Green Parkers to exercise some patience as this matter is resolved.  We advise that we err on the side of caution on this matter.

5. It was agreed that the designs for carports and gazebos currently in place would be adopted and that residents wishing to put up carports or gazebos are free to choose from any one of the existing designs

There is a short, two course wall being constructed at house No. 170.  The homeowner has indicated that it was necessary to prevent water overflowing into their compound during the wet season.  A chain link fence of the appropriate height will be placed on top of this wall.

As a matter of course, it is my considered opinion that what we are seeing is because the systems are not working as they were intended to.  We, the Interim Committee, will be requesting for a complete transition from the current arrangement and will be advising you shortly of the steps being taken.
