Calling all Kazoo Players!
The Silver Nightingale
I'm putting together an All Kazoo Band for the traditional Day of the
Dead Skeleton Processional in downtown Fort Lauderdale this Saturday,
October 30.
All you need to participate is a kazoo, and the ability to walk while
playing some simple tunes like La Bamba, La Cucaracha, and anything
else we can think of that's upbeat and has a Mexican flavor. We'll have
a short rehearsal immediately before the parade at the Puppet Network
studios in FAT Village Arts District.

This will be a very fun event, stepping off at Fort Lauderdale's Museum
of Art Saturday at 5 PM, and culminating at FAT Village Arts District,
where there will be margaritas and treats for all marchers, and special
Day of the Dead - Dia de los Muertos exhibits and events throughout the
entire FAT Arts Village District from 6 - 11 PM, as well as on Tuesday,
November 2.
Non-kazoo players are welcome to join the Processional as well. It's a
family-friendly parade with giant puppets, a "Thriller" Dance Troupe,
our All Kazoo Band, and lots more! Just show up at MoAFL at 5 PM on
